HEAD OF FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNERING

Position characteristics:

Responsible for the delivery of the financial performance of the Czech, Slovakia, Germany and Austria (CZSKGEAT) cluster, including involvement in setting the long-term strategic financial business plan, and management of the annual budget and forecasts. This position is responsible for the delivery of the entire Income Statement, including Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing and Support functions. This is delivered through leading the team of finance business partners who support all functions of the organisation, challenging them to proactively generate financial and business insights which add-value to management to support the decision-making process.

Objectives (Short term and long term):

• Lead, manage and develop the team of Finance Business Partners who support all functions across the business cluster in delivery of total company performance.
• Responsible for delivery of the entire P&L (Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing and Support functions) for the business cluster, ensuring any risks and opportunities are identified and communicated early to relevant stakeholders and interventions/action plans are agreed.
• Present the drivers behind business performance to enable an insightful contribution in financial review meetings and relevant decision making forums. Influence leaders regarding business strategy and communicate this in an effective manner to local and regional leaders.
• Interface and align with Regional Hub for all financial forecasting processes and delivery of annual business performance.
• Lead and manage the strategic, financial planning and forecasting cycles throughout the year co-ordinating all functions and countries of the business.
• Critically review and challenge business cases for projects (both CAPEX and OPEX) ensuring they align to long-term company strategy, financial rigour and governance are applied, cross-functional alignment is achieved and appropriate measures are in place to evaluate delivery against objectives.
• Understand external market trends of industry sectors to develop robust insight into the market. Benchmark current business and apply external perspective by proactively presenting and promoting new ideas.
• Responsible to deliver continuous improvement in ways of working and align best practice across the team in conjunction with best practice across the Asahi Europe and International (AEI) region. Proactively work with peers to identify and implement.

Key criteria:

• University degree
• 7+ years of professional business experience preferably in international FMCG industry
• 5+ managerial experience
• Experience of leading x-functional projects
• Certified accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong commercial thinking / business acumen
• Effectively communicate to & influence stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
• Demonstrate a curious approach to the wider business & industry
• Ability to facilitate change
• Continuous search for improvement and innovative thinking
