Position characteristics:

The Commercial Intelligence Manager directly leads a team of analysts and is responsible for the management of data projects - definition of goals, elaboration of the project schedule, coordination of the members of the project team, monitoring of the observance of the project schedule and its budget, evaluation and presentation of results, as well as for the management of related risks. The person implements the outcomes of projects into practice, supports their utilization and develops the “data science” area within commercial teams.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 2 Commercial Intelligence analysts.
• Leading the project management in the area of data projects.
• Formalizing and going into detail when it comes to project assignments, its purpose and business usability for a new data project.
• Assuming responsibility for the setting, management, and observance of defined goals from the perspective of time, technical and cost parameters of the given project.
• Managing capacities for the delivery of individual projects.
• Communicating and coordinating project activities with business units, IT, Strategy & Insight team, and other support teams.
• Participating in the direction setting for the area of “data science” within the company.
• Assuming responsibility for the area of data quality, setting the logic for the check of input data, elaborating action plans for the improvement of quality and availability of data.
• Identifying opportunities for getting and using external data, aligning business and information needs of the company, assigning priorities to projects/tasks.
• Planning and coordinating projects, preparation of documents for the investment plan and participating in the creation of the development and maintenance plan.
• Providing recommendations for data which can be used in the scientific modelling.
• Interpreting outcomes of a data model and formulating recommendations for its utilization and connection to internal data.
• Ensuring activities related to the maintenance and improvement of the COBRA database.

Requirements:

• University education of economical/technical/mathematical-statistical focus.
• 5 years of experience in the area of analytical data processing.
• Experience in the area of project/business intelligence management preferable
• Experience with leading people.
• Ability to interpret results of data modelling for business purposes.
• Managerial skills, leadership, strategic thinking.
• Analytical skills, structured thinking, independence.
• Ability to learn quickly, expand the knowledge in the area of work with analytical tools and innovative technologies.
• Fluent English - written and spoken.
• Experience with reporting tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python and Azure platform preferable
• Building professional relations with internal and external customers.
