Digital Communication Manager - Prague

About The Role:

The Digital Media Manager and his team work closely with internal brand marketing teams, digital agencies and media agencies in CZ/SK in order to develop digital media strategie and communication strategies, plans and activations, with the objective of creating a step change in the effectiveness and efficiency of brand activations in the digital space. Together with Digital Marketing Specialist they oversee the implementation of these plans, with the support of the agencies and Media Manager. They provide knowledge and experience in developing and executing digital campaigns across multiple channels and media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage creation of focused, relevant, and objective-driven digital strategies and activation plans for brands
  • ‘Lead by example’ by leading 3-5 high priority digital activations per year, driving best practice execution in the business
  • Manage above brand relationship with existing/potential digital creative agencies, ensuring optimum creative output
  • Lead setting of annual KPIs for key brands, and then monitor and optimize towards these
  • Is responsible tracking of digital activities and spend, capturing and distributing learnings on campaigns
  • Manage Digital Communications budget for technical systems and funding innovative activities
  • Lead knowledge sharing on trends/tools related to digital. Drive digital IQ, digital mindset and innovative communications thinking within the whole commercial organisation
  • Lead education plan for increasing digital capability in the commercial business
  • Coordinates Digital and Insights teams on research to better understand consumer behaviour in digital and Impact of digital activities on consumer behaviour
  • Coordinates Digital team and Corporate Affairs, BIS and Trade Marketing teams on digital projects
  • Act as lead contact person for the international Digital Enablement Team and participate in international activities as representative of the company. Participates on Global digital projects

Requirements:

  • University-level education
  • 5-7 years working experience in a marketing environment in either an media or advertising agency or in a FMCG company’s brand marketing department, including at least 3 years of proven work experience in a senior position related to digital strategy and communications
  • Proven experience with people management for at least 2 years.
  • Proven delivery on digital communications project, able to display success and positive impact on business
  • An all-round marketer with flawless understanding of the strategic role of digital communications vs traditional communication forms
  • Strong digital media understanding of both CZ and SK markets, and basic offline media knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of Social Media(s) and how to use it to build brands
  • Robust understanding of digital measurement approaches techniques over Paid, Owned and Earned media channels. Active experience with Google Analytics and Facebook Insights required. Other measurement techniques are a plus.
  • Good understanding of other marketing channels (ATL/BTL/PR) and how they operate
  • Fluent business English speaker
  • A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills, and an ability to inspire and influence people at every level of the organisation
